Introducing Bandsintown's Fan Management Suite
The Bandsintown Fan Management Suite is set to help artists connect with their fans for free via the Bandsintown for Artists service. As the platform stresses the importance of first party data, it's offering users new ways to seize control of their marketing campaigns.
What's included
The new features on offer include the Fan Manager Dashboard, Events Widget, Smart Link and Email Signup Form. On the Fan Manager Dashboard, users can manage their contacts and followers, import and export fan data, access audience analytics, and connect with fans via customisable campaigns. Campaigns can be generated across posts, push notifications, and emails.
The Events Widget allows artists to promote their shows on their external websites by listing event dates and ticket links in one place. Recent tests of the updated widget found that, on average, artists experience up to 30x increase in ticket clicks, up to 7x increase in event saves/RSVPs, and up to 10x increase in followers and subscribers.
The Smart Link feature allows artists to generate smart URLs with customisable photos, backgrounds, text, colours, icons, and event listings. Similarly, the Email Signup tool allows users to create customised sign up forms, that can be embedded on external sites.
Alongside the new suite, Bandsintown have launched the Bandsintown for Artists Playbooks strategy-focused content to help artists up their marketing game. You can check out the first of the playbooks here.
What's next
There’s also a free email builder tool yet to come. It promises artists the opportunity to “craft custom email campaigns, create targeted fan segments, easily plug your tour dates & music links, plus more.” Users can sign up for early access here.
Now that the Fan Management Suite is available to all artists, Bandsintown is set to put artists in the drivers seat, on the road to fan engagement.
