A Look At Audience Republic
As live music makes its return, we decided to take a look at Audience Republic - a new platform that's changing the way we look at ticket sales.
If there’s one thing that makes a potential punter more likely to head along to an event, it’s knowing that their friends will be doing the same. The creation of Audience Republic was inspired by that fact, and an event that set CEO and former event promoter Jared Kristensen back $20,000. Audience Republic’s mission is “to help event promoters increase ticket sales, and to get closer to their fans in the process”. Harnessing the power of word of mouth, the platform has helped amplify events by Beyond The Valley, Yours and Owls, Secret Sounds and many more.
Their pre-sale registration, ballot, waitlist, and competition campaigns allow fans to register for access and earn points when they share content, refer friends and follow artists and events on social media. Those that achieve top point scorer status earn rewards like access to cheaper pre-sale tickets, guaranteed access to tickets, and prizes. Audience Republic taps into passionate fanbases, all while capturing valuable audience data. Artists and organisers can use these campaigns to go viral, gauge fans' interest in events and get to know more about their most engaged fans.
Through Audience Republic, users can import all their data from various ticketing platforms into one place to track ticket sales, discover trends and unlock customer insights. The platform’s event CRM can be used as a home for customer data, including ticket sales data, email subscribers and registrations from campaigns. On top of that, Audience Republic’s Messaging product allows its users to send out targeted SMS messages to their audiences, and craft email campaigns. Customer lists can even be automatically uploaded to synced to Facebook’s Custom Audiences to assist with targeted social media campaigns.
As more and more fans snap up tickets to live music events this year, we're certain Audience Republic will be flying onto their radars, and better connecting them with artists and event organisers.
